Ok for a teapot but not 1 cup

"I received my tea as well as my 2 1/2" tea ball today. Love the wu-long tea but not happy with this infuser as I feel it is TOO BIG for my 8 oz cup. Should have gotten the 2" infuser I think.
This 2 1/2" wood be good for a pot of tea but too big for just 1 cup."

Okay For Large Tea Leaves

"I have this, but I don't like using this for small leaf tea. It's ok for larger leaf tea, but even with that it leaves too much residue behind. Its a hit and miss item with me. I prefer the muslin tea bags on this site as they do not leave any residue behind at all."

"I bought this infuser instead of the smaller one because the ad mentioned that extra space means more room for the tea leaves to unfurl. It fits in all my teacups except the very tall skinny ones."
